Busy Busy

Dalton is getting over bronchitis and sinus infection. Dominic has pink eye and double ear infection again. We are having a consultation on May 13 to get tubes in his ears. I hope that goes good like it does for Dalton. He is on his third set; I hope Dominic does not need that many. Dakota is off on his bike most of the time. Usually comes back with a new mark every day. But if he don't get his grade up the bike is going to get locked up.

Dakota and Dalton are about to start there baseball season. Dalton was to have practice tonight but with all this damn rain it was cancelled. Dakota has practice this Sat. We will see if the rain stays away.

My day off

Dalton had a dentist appointment this morning. He did wonderful. We did a little shopping. He found a pillow that has a rainbow on it and says "Get Over It". He thought he had to have it cause it was so soft. I told him it was a girl pillow and he did not seem to care. We did buy it. On the way home we seen the Easter Bunny at Samuel Music. We stopped and he had a guitar that he let the kids touch. Dalton was kinda shy for some reason. I have a pic on my phone but don't know how to print. Sorry!!

While he went to preschool I got things ready for Easter. I just hate these holidays sneaking up on me. Dakota is done with title 1 after school now. Dominic finally got his first tooth today. I think more are coming in very soon.

We would like to wish everyone a "Happy Easter". I probably won't get on til after. We are going to St. Louis Friday for a Blues game.

All Sick

Dakota was sick on Friday and we finally got in at the doctor and he had strep. Saturday Dalton ran a temperature and slept all day. Sunday he was coughing but running around. Early Monday morning Travis was throwing up. I called the doctor Monday for Dalton and they gave him some medicine. I am not liking this pattern at all.

Dominic goes back to the doctor tomorrow to check his ears again. Hope that situation is cleared up. I am busy working and disinfecting my house. My chiropractic appointment will be wonderful tomorrow.

Still Here - Heck of a week

Saturday Trav and I went to St. Louis for his union 105th party. Wow!! It was fun but did not like dressing up. It was like prom. Sunday we went shopping in St Charles with Hank and Jamee. Thanks guys, that was fun!!! We plan on going back soon with the kids to play. Monday morning I have a flat tire. Tuesday I did not have a pharmacist at work. We were to have a fill-in but he did not show. Finally our Pharmacy supervisor decides to come. (I do not know how in the hell he got his job. I knew more than he did) It was also truck day and it was running late. Wednesday we were short handed so I had to go back to work and close that night. Thursday I had a girl call in sick and I said that I was not coming back. Abby (the manager) is on vacation and Karen is sick; that don't leave me too many options. The other girls did not return my calls. I did have one reliable person. Thanks Kiley!!! But I am getting tired of doing everything and getting nothing in return. SHITTY WEEK!! We'll see how Friday goes. Thank god I am off this weekend.

Dominic has his second ear infection. He went back today for a check on his ears and they are still infected - red, bulging, and has puss. So we are going to try a different antibiotic. If this don't work we may try one more antibiotic or tubes. That is all I need - another child with tubes.

A huge thank you to my mom

I was off on Tuesday and then Wednesday morning at 6 am I get this call from Lil (my wonderful sitter) saying that she went to the ER Tuesday night because she could not breathe and she was going to take the day off. That was fine. Since Trav is back to work and he was able to watch the kids before I thought that I should stay home this time. So I called Abby and everything was fine.

Last night I went to Trav's parents to do our taxes and got home at 10 pm and seen we had a message. As I went to press play, the phone rang and it was Trav on his way home from school and was very tired. So then it was 11 when I got to listen to the message. It was Lil saying she was running a fever and was not watching kids on Thursday. Well it was too late to call anyone so I got up at 5:20 and called my mom. She was willing to miss work today since I missed yesterday. My grandma even helped for an hour. She could not believe how much Dominic had changed since Christmas. I probably could have missed another day. My mom was even going to take Friday off if I needed her. But good news is that Lil is fine now and is watching kids tomorrow (Friday).

Thanks again mom!!! and grandma Betty!!!

Typical Monday

Mondays always suck!!! Especially when I just worked the weekend. I wish I could find a job that I would not have to work weekends. I did apply for the assistant to the city treasurer.

Dominic got his 6 month shots today. Lil said he was a little fussy this afternoon. He also has a cold. He did pretty good. Lucy Bierman has two little bottom theeth now. She is so adorable. Dominic has been teething since December and still no teeth. But atleast he is not cranky. Thank god!!!

My weeks are about to get more complicated. Dakota is playing basketball now. I guess it is good that he is outgoing and not shy now. He has practices on Saturdays and games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It will be fun though!!!

Dominic is 6 months old today!!!

My baby is 6 months old today. Wow where has the time went!!! He had his checkup this morning. Everything is great. He weighs 20 lb 12 oz. and is 28 1/2 inches long. We even had pictures taken by Amber Lindemann at Photo Graphics. I will let you know when they get posted. Then I took him to Lil's to play with his friend Lucy Bierman. I picked Dalton and then went to pick up Dominic to go to the preschool screenings. Dominic passed everything on his and Dalton did excellent too. He had all the ladies laughing and Mrs. Bergbower (his teacher at St. Thomas) told them that he does not act that way in class.

I got a special call today

We get our truck every Tuesday at CVS. Yesterday it was a late delivery so today it took us all day to finish it. I have to pick up Dalton from preschool at 3 everyday and today I get a call from Jamee to pick up my niece, Emily at the highschool. I really enjoyed it because it brought back some memories when Dakota went there (that was 7 years ago). I hope I can do it again.

The Weekend

Friday night Dakota went to a skating party with some classmates. He had a blast but did get a burn from the rollerblades on his ankle. Saturday night me and the boys went to the Olney skating rink for Gavin Dorn's b'day party. It was Dalton's first time skating. He was a little confused at first and then loved it. It was hilarious watching him skate around. Actually he was doing a running thing. I tried taking a picture but the lighting was terrible. Sorry!! Dominic finally fell asleep about thirty minutes before it was over. He loved watching people go around and around and all the lights. After that we went to a friends house over by Casey and the kids got to play with other kids. They enjoyed it and fell asleep as soon as we left the driveway. Travis and Mark Rennier went to St. Louis for a Blues game and it happend to be Mardi Gras. They also had a great time. Sunday was the Soup Supper at St. Thomas. Dakota and I took the 1:30-4 shift. Our shift was a little short handed. I filled drinks and Dakota did tables. He was not too thrilled but did ok. His friend Mitchell Bierman helped him some. After that I gathered the whole family and went home and went to bed at 8pm. The boys still did not want to get up Monday morning, not that I did either. And so another week starts......... Yeah.... not....

Not much going on

Not much going on here. Just Dalton and Dakota fighting over the Xbox. Dominic is out for the night. And I am ready to hit the sheets myself - It has been a long week. I am off this weekend (thank god) but have several things going on. A birthday party, going out with friends, and the St. Thomas Soup Supper on Sunday.

dalton's checkup

Dalton had his tonsils out, his third set of tubes, and some of his adenoids out that have grown back three weeks ago. He had his checkup today and Dr. Smith said everything looks great. YEAH!!! They did a hearing test and it came back perfect and they could not trick him. After that we did some shopping for myself and Dominic. He is out growing everything. He got some 6-9 month outfits for xmas that are getting small already. I was never one to have tight clothes on my kids. I like for them to have room to breathe and move. The shopping must have worn Dalton out cause he slept on the way home.

Dakota is excited to have a 4 day weekend. Teacher Institute today and President's day on Monday. He will be riding his bike alot if the weather permits. I hope it does - I am ready for Sunny Spring to be here and stay. Too bad I have to work this weekend.

I had my chiropractor appt this morning and doing much better. I still don't know what I did to my neck. Dr. Tarr says my x-rays look like it is whiplash. ?????

I'm still here

I'm still here just busy. Travis went back to work at Coffeen on Monday. And on Tuesdays I bowl so will not be getting on. Wednesdays just depend on kids. Trav has school. Thursdays he bowls. It all depends on how much homework Dakota has too. I usually try to get on Fridays. And then I work every other weekend.

When Dakota is doing homework, Dalton is glued to the Xbox. Dominic is usually sleeping or watching tv after being fed. Or some times just scooting/rolling on the floor.

I do have to work this weekend. I would like to wish all a "Happy Valentine's Day"

Friends over

Last night Dakota had a friend, Joe Stone, spend the night. Travis and I has come to the conclusion that there should be no more friends til we get a bigger house. Dalton is just playing Xbox and not bugging them. Surprising!!! Dominic has been really good too.
